Iggensbach, 23.April.2026 ---- FENECON, a leading German hardware and software specialist for energy storage solutions serving the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial sectors, is launching the FENECON Commercial 100 — a highly powerful energy storage solution for renewable energy applications. The new product further expands the FENECON portfolio for the Commercial sector, effective immediately: The system is designed with a 100 kW hybrid inverter and a widely scalable storage capacity ranging from 39.2 to 420 kWh to meet the high requirements of agriculture, Commercial businesses, and multi-family housing. Operators across these sectors benefit from simple installation and flexible expansion and adaptation options in capacity and applications of the compact indoor system as well as enhanced supply security. A particularly attractive added value results from intelligent control of PV generation, battery charging, and active load management during PV curtailment by the grid operator.

Commercial 100: key benefits in a nutshell
The Commercial 100 for the Commercial sector enables maximum PV integration – up to 200 kWp PV input capacity with 100 kW inverter output – and can therefore be oversized by a factor of 2. The storage system is flexible, cost-efficient, and safe to operate.
Thanks to its compact design, it can be quickly and easily integrated into existing buildings and commissioned. As an indoor system, it can be installed without complex installation concepts, avoiding the challenges of traditional container solutions. With the help of a dynamic ripple control receiver, operators can optimally utilize available PV output and thus reduce energy losses due to curtailment.
Inverters from FENECON storage systems are not connected to the internet but are securely linked to the FEMS box, which communicates with FENECON servers in Germany in compliance with data protection regulations. The system can optionally even be operated entirely without an internet connection, reducing the risk of cyberattacks and — in combination with backup power capability — ensuring maximum supply security. Also noteworthy: “Made in Germany”: 100 percent of the software (FEMS) as well as key components are developed and manufactured by FENECON in Germany.
Among the additional product features are backup power capability in combination with the optional STS box, an additional generator input and — consistent with FENECON’s approach — easy combinability with numerous other FEMS applications such as the integration of dynamic electricity tariffs, heat pumps and heating elements or EV charging infrastructure.
