Bavaria’s first vertically mounted agri-photovoltaic system. The project was initiated by entrepreneur and organic farmer Franz Obermayer Sr. together with his son Franz.
On an area of four hectares, organic crops are cultivated while generating solar power simultaneously. The system is supported by a 1.3 MWh FENECON energy storage system, serving as a model project for sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.
Key requirement:Store surplus PV energy and release it in line with demand.
